The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.

Student Counseling

K.J. VIDHYAMANDIR, a school for difference, runs a very unique and distinct activity of COUNSELING. The awareness of the term COUNSELING at a town level in itself defines the vision of the school towards the complete development of the child.

This activity truly focuses on bridging the gap on both academic and non academic front. The need of this activity emerged out of the observation that children at a small town level fail to gain the appropriate educational standard as according to their class levels.

It's very difficult for these students to have an academic movement without extra and personalized help.

Thus, the first step of assessment is done to figure out their levels and based on that particular groups are formed. Supervised tutorials are conducted in small groups looking forward to their needs, abilities and capabilities within the time frame of the school schedule itself.

Then on the good n talented group work to their needs and thinking skills; the average group work to their areas of difficulties; and the below average group work to fulfill their academic gaps to reach to their class level by the help of specifically designed worksheets.

Last, the learning outcome is measured at certain intervals to check their achievement target, based on which the students movement is judged and the shift in their group is redefined.

It's a continuous process round the year, benefitting each new admission student to accomplish their class level through the process of counseling.

On non academic grounds, child's physical fitness, behaviour and emotional needs are also taken care of.
